At Browne's Design & Fabrication we understand drag racing because we do it from top to bottom and we work with the best names in the industry. Our 88 cubic inch Shovelhead Turbo ran a 7.91 second 170 mph quarter mile and our new 120 inch Pro Gas 4 cam motor is into the 7.50's at 176mph. We do all sorts of custom work for our clients covering everything from stretched swingarms on one end and custom forks on the other end to everything in between.
We hold the AHDRA #1 Plate for the Pro Gas Gas class with our RB Racing/RSR Fuel Injected and Turbocharged 4 cam motor. We are running Delkron 4 cam cases and a three speed transmission with a timed Nitrous assist. The combination proved to be super reliable meet after meet with only a small amount of transmission breakage problems. As we upped the horsepower and worked on our clutch management we finally broke a set of Carrillo rods (they had been in a long long time) which we replaced with a heavier, but stronger, set of McClure rods. All the construction you see here from the frame to the body to the paint and all machine work to get the #1 Pro Gas plate was done at Browne's Design & Fabrication. No matter what class you want to run, we have the experience and skills to get the job done. To show you that we don't just work on all out full race stuff, look at the clean street and strip bikes pictured below.
We stretched this GSXR's swingarm, did a custom paint job, added a sidewinder header and did some tricks so the bike would hook up and stay paint up and rubber down. The owner was really happy with the result...a fast clean bike that gets a lot of attention.
We race Harleys but we like all drag bikes. At Browne's Design & Fabrication we work on Rice Rockets like this GSXR that got a 12 inch extension, a sidewinder exhaust and a lot of polishing and chroming. Little details like setting up the fairing for the sidewinder and building a custom aluminum chain guard is what sets our work apart. When we do a job we work on the bike just like we do on our own race bikes...every detail counts and the right way is the only way.
These are the helmets we race with. As you can imagine the "skull" visor looks really wild when we're headed down the strip.
Shovels never die! We did this custom bike for a customer and besides looking good and running well, it creates crowds wherever it's parked.
Notice the clean execution of the rear fender. We try to do clean, well thought out work. Racing is our passion but the expertise we gain spills over into the work we really love to do...creating pretty, functional bikes for our customers. Check out the molded in Tach and exquisite tank work! Are you ready to RUMBLE!!! This one is.

This is currently the fastest gas burning Harley in the country holding the Number One Plate in the AHDRA. The bike is a 120 cubic inch Turbocharged, nitrous assisted, with an RB Racing RSR Fuel Injected Pro Gas Turbo. The blue paint job is the latest rendition...the picture above, with the orange, yellow and black paint scheme is an earlier photo of the same bike. The transmission is a 3 speed unit housed in a Browne's Design and Fabrication Frame that has an 11" wide Goodyear tire. A Dyna 4000 ignition and a Dynatech Datalog unit are used to spark the motor and record the runs. The below picture shows both of our bikes which are sponsored by Newton's Machine and Welding & Fabrication of Oxford N.C., Rocket Rodgers of Danville Virginia, Delkron Manufacturing (The 4 cam cases), Miller Racing of Ridgeville South Carolina, and Jarrett Welding of Danville Virginia.

When we show up at the race track we like to meet our friends and customers in a clean, organized, environment.Racing is enough of a zoo with all the pressures and deadlines that we treasure the moments that we can sit down in the shade and talk with you about your bikes and what Browne's Design and Fabrication can do for you to help you reach your goals whether it's an Ultimate Street Bike or an out and out Drag Bike. Even if you're just looking for advice or assistance in hooking up an air shifter we'd be glad to help you out. Bikes are a 7 day a weeks affair for us.
